The CEO/MD Endi Ezengwa of Innoson Kiara Academy visited Imo State to discuss the establishment of 5 automobile workshops to continue our Train the Trainers programme using Imo youths that have graduated from Innoson Kiara Academy (IKA). The programme is partly funded by the German Government.
They have provided top range BOSCH auto diagnostic equipment to support the development of Auto Technicians in the Southeast and help keep our youths gainfully employed.
The Commissioner for Labour, Productivity and Employment and the Director of Imo State Investments Promotion Agency (ISIPA) hosted us at the Ahiajoku conference centre, Owerri. NATA (National Automotive Technicians Association) officials as well as the IKA graduates attended. We discussed the next phase of the project which will involve the training of 400 youths in the State using these 5 workshops in partnership with NATA
